
Second half defensive effort leads to Bryant & Stratton College (WI) win
Bobcats beat Spartans to extend winning streak
ELGIN, Ill. — Dillion Fulwood was perfect from the field (8-for-8) and led Bryant & Stratton College (WI) in scoring with 17 points to defeat the Elgin Community College Spartans 75-68 Saturday evening.
Daniel Sykes added 16 points and Matthew Juergens scored nine points.
Davee Flowers scored 18 and Xavior Gonzalez scored 17 points for Elgin (3-5).
The Bobcats trailed by as much eight as second half, but a basket by Malcolm Day with 7:40 sparked a comeback. Bryant & Stratton held Elgin scoreless until the 1:47 mark when the Spartans put one free-throw through the basket.
