Griffin Leads the Bucs to Victory in Decatur
Decatur, MS- The Shelton State Men's Basketball team broke a 3 game losing streak as they took down the East Central (MS) Warriors 68-63 thanks to a second half explosion by Nazir Griffin.
Griffin scored 26 of his 30 points in the second half to help the Bucs (2-3) fend off the Warriors. Hasani Rivera posted 10 points and 7 rebounds followed by Darius Brant who scored 9 while Kuron Coleman and Troy Dunn both pitched in 8. Brant added 7 rebounds while freshman DJ Hamlet pulled down 5 rebounds while also dishing out 5 assists.
