Mobile- The Shelton State men's basketball team fell to Bishop State 75-60 to conclude their regular season on Thursday.
The Bucs (14-14) finish conference play tied for 6th in ACCC with Calhoun. The Bucs fate lies in a tiebreaker to be officially announced by the conference at a later date.
Darius Brant led the Bucs with 14 points while Nazir Griffin pitched in 13. Tramarion Hughley poured in 12 for the Bucs.
The Bucs carried a 37-33 advantage into halftime after Darius Brant scored 12 of his 14 in first half. Bishop rallied behind University of North Alabama commit Kedar Bodie who scored 11 of his 19 points in the 2nd half. The Bucs were only able to hit 1 trey ball in the contest compared to 6 for the Wildcats.
