
Bobcats fall in first game back from break
Lancers hand Bobcats their seventh loss of the season.
GRAYSLAKE, Ill. — Maren McCallister scored 25 points to lead the College of Lake County to a 77-61 win over Bryant & Stratton College.
After defeating Moraine Valley on Jan. 9, the Lancers also received an impressive effort from Chloe Sisco, who scored 21 points. Lancer Kennedee Clark also recorded a double-double (11 points and 15 rebounds) in the win.
The Bobcats (7-7) dropped their first game back from winter break despite double-digit effort from Trishena Brown (22 points) and Addison Ray (21 points).
Bryant & Stratton led at the beginning of the game (5-3), and it would be the only lead the Bobcats would have in the matchup. The Lancers took a 38-24 lead into halftime.
The Bobcats battled back in the second half and were trialed by a little as two, with 6:27 in the fourth. However, the Lancers' offense stayed strong, and they walked off the court with a 77-61 win.
