
Trishena Brown makes history in Bobcats win over MATC
MILWAUKEE - Trishena Brown led all Bryant & Stratton College (13-11) players with 24 points. She also had 16 rebounds and was also two assists shy of a triple-double
Alexis Ayers scored 14 for the Stormers (8-17).
The Bobcats led by 10 (34-24) at halftime, and Brown scored 12 of her 24 points. The Bryant & Stratton offense stayed hot in the third quarter, scoring 20 points and improving its lead to 13.
That would be enough for the Bobcats to hold onto the game and capture their 13th win of the season.
Addison Ray had 19 points in the effort, two points off her career high. Addie Miller also made important contributions with seven points and grabbed 16 rebounds. Erinne Giles scored also scored 14 points in the win.
An important milestone was achieved during the win as well. Brown moved into second place all-time for career points. The basket was made at the beginning of the second half.

"It felt good; I didn't know I had that many points," Brown said.
"It's pretty cool having my third 1,000-point scorer," Bryant & Stratton head women's basketball coach Brandon Siska said. "To see her growth and improvement is awesome. She is an all-around great kid to have around, really fun to watch."
