Women's Basketball Dominates on the Road
The Bryant & Stratton College Lady Bobcats (BSC) traveled on the road to face the Howard Community College dragons in a non-conference matchup.
The Bobcats were coming off their first loss of the season and would look to respond in a big way and that's exactly what they would do. BSC would crush the spirit of the Dragons early, they held a 22-4 first-quarter lead and a 46-13 lead at the half and this game was over before the second half started. The Bobcats would take the win, 78-27. A dominant performance for BSC responding to their first loss of the season, the Bobcats would have a season-best defensive quarter as they would hold the Dragons to just one-point in the third quarter as they poured it on.
The Bobcats had four players finish in double-digit point total led by Hailey Harris with 18pts, 2stl, 2reb, Yvette Sandifer finished with 13pts, 7stl, 2reb, Rakyla Jones finished with 11pts, 8ast, 7reb, and Shakerra Reddicks finished with 10pts, 5reb, 3stl.
Up next for the Bobcats they will host the Southwest Virginia Flying Eagles on Saturday the 7th at 3pm and Sunday the 8th at 1pm hosting the Wake Tech Community College Eagles, both contests are in conference as the Bobcats look to add onto their win total.
