Khalil Oden Breaks D2 NJCAA 3PT Single Game Record Again in Comeback Win Over Bland
The Bryant & Stratton College Bobcats pulled off a thrilling 92-89 victory over Richard Bland College Statesmen, in a high-scoring showdown that kept fans on the edge of their seats.
Despite the Statesmen's strong first-half performance, where they shot 58.6% from the field, the Bobcats turned the tide in the second half with a spectacular offensive display, outscoring the Statesmen 63-53. Kahlil Oden was the star of the game, leading his team with 31 points, including 10 three-pointers on 16 attempts, breaking his own as well as an NJCAA record of nine three-pointers made which he set last season almost exactly one year ago (February 17, 2024, vs. Davidson-Davie). With crucial free throws down the stretch and solid defense, the Bobcats sealed the comeback win in a game that showcased their resilience, teamwork, and offensive firepower as the team finished with 53.2% shooting from the field and 48.1% from beyond the arc.
