Bobcats Drop Series Against Lackawanna 1-2

The Bryant and Stratton College Bobcats hosted the Lackawanna College Falcons in a single contest due to weather on Saturday evening.

• Angel Ariona had a solid game, collecting three hits and contributing with stolen bases.
• Ben Malone hit a home run and drove in two RBIs.
• Nelson Zapata and Caden Smith each had one RBI, and Zapata also added three hits.
• Casey Proctor started the game, going five innings, allowing four earned runs with seven strikeouts.
• Hector Norieca Rodriguez struggled in relief, giving up four earned runs in just 0.1 innings as he earned the loss.
• Jason Johnson pitched three innings, allowing five earned runs but striking out eight.

Lackawanna College's offense was dominant, with a strong outing from their batters. The Bobcats struggled to contain Lackawanna's offensive explosion and couldn't overcome the errors and pitching difficulties in the loss.

Game two:

• Bishop Quarles hit three singles and drove in two RBIs.
• Nelson Zapata hit a home run, drove in two RBIs, and had three hits.
• Chris Johnson had three hits, and Diego Melendez drove in one RBI.
• Derek Arrocha took the loss, allowing six earned runs in two innings.
• Clayton Cooksey pitched three innings, allowing three earned runs with five strikeouts.
• Brayden Smith gave up four earned runs in two innings but had two strikeouts.

Lackawanna College's offense was explosive, with strong contributions from the entire lineup. The Bobcats couldn't match their offensive output despite solid performances from Quarles and Zapata. Lackawanna's pitchers also did well, limiting the Bobcats' scoring opportunities.

Game three: 

• Diego Melendez went 3-for-5 with 2 RBIs.
• Keith Stewart hit a home run and had one RBI.
• Angel Arjona contributed two stolen bases.
• Alexander Gryckiewicz got the win, pitching seven innings and allowing five earned runs while striking out five.
• Ben Malone stole three bases, and Melendez stole two.

The game was tightly contested, with Bobcats pulling ahead in the late innings to secure a 6-5 win. Despite strong performances from Lackawanna College. Alexander Gryckiewicz was efficient for the Bobcats, keeping Lackawanna's offense in check through seven innings.
