BATAVIA, NY… The Genesee Community College women's basketball team dropped their NJCAA Region III contest Wednesday night to the visiting Corning Red Barons 78-50.
Jaelyn Morris led the way for Genesee, scoring 14 points. Madison Hughson scored 11 points off the bench. Elle Peterson scored seven points, while Kiara van der Jagt scored nine points.
Genesee will return home this weekend for a pair of Region III contests, as Herkimer College and Mohawk Valley CC will be in town on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
