Estherville,  IA- The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team defeated Dakota County Technical College 84-68 to move to 13-8 on the season.

The Lakers were led by Jayden Jones with 21 points, Jhordan Ryan and Jade West added 14, Ashton Hermann added 13, and Thor Gilo added 11. 

Dakota County was led by Justice King with 20 points.

"Really proud of our guys tonight. We went and battled in a tough place to play without two starters. It started on the defensive end. We got stops and out rebounded them 47-30. We also took a step in the right direction offensively with 27 assists."

The Lakers will now travel to Council Bluffs on Wednesday where they will take on Iowa Western. The tip for that game will be at 7:30pm.
