ESTHERVILLE - The NIACC men's basketball dropped a 79-53 decision to Iowa Lakes Wednesday night in the final regular season contest for both teams.
Iowa Lakes (19-11 overall, 9-9 in the ICCAC) led 40-21 at the half and outscored the Trojans 39-32 in the second 20 minutes.
Jhordan Ryan led Iowa Lakes with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Jayden Jones was next in line for the Lakers with 17 points.
NIACC (17-12, 8-10) was led by sophomore guard Brayden Drea with 20 points, including four 3-point goals. Lance Helming and Randy McClendon both scored eight points for the Trojans.
The seventh-seeded Trojans play at second-seeded Kirkwood (26-3, 15-3) at 3 p.m. Saturday in the opening round of the NJCAA Region 11 tournament in Cedar Rapids.
