Bryant & Stratton College sweeps Madison College
Bobcats beat WolfPack for second time this season
MILWAUKEE — The Bryant & Stratton College's women's basketball team (12-11) and Madison College (9-12) faced each other for the second time this season.
The first time they both met, Bryant & Stratton walked out of Madison with a 71-63 win.
Scoring started slow, with both teams ending the first quarter tied at nine. The Bobcats went on to outscore Madison College 43-25 through the second and third quarters.
However, the WolfPack nearly completed an 18-point comeback by outscoring Bryant & Stratton 23-11 in the fourth quarter. The WolfPack trailed by as little as five, but a clutch layup by Trishena Brown and free throws by Erinne Giles and Brown iced the game.
Brown finished with 29 points, 18 rebounds, and five assists.
Giles finished with 15 points, five rebounds and four assists.
Dani Latz scored 16 for Madison College.
Notable:
- The Bobcats are 5-0 in their last five games against the WolfPack.
- This was Giles' 12th game, scoring double digits.
- Brown tied her career-high with 18 boards.
