Men's Basketball Battle Sussex in High-Scoring Showdown
PARAMUS, NJ-In a fiercely contested matchup on Tuesday, November 26, the Bergen Community College men's basketball team displayed grit and determination but fell short against Sussex County Community College, 90-83. The game marked an intense effort for the Bulldogs as they continue to seek their first win of the season.
Amire Walker led the charge for Bergen, putting up 22 points, including a perfect 5-for-5 from three-point range, while also adding 7 assists and a steal. Louis Sosa contributed 17 points and 6 rebounds, and Jordan Lugo delivered a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds, anchoring the Bulldogs' effort on both ends of the court.
The Bulldogs showcased precision from beyond the arc, shooting a flawless 11-for-11 (100%) on three-pointers. However, Sussex's balanced scoring attack, led by Kendrick Davis with 28 points and Marlon Torres with 23 points, ultimately proved too much for Bergen to overcome.
