Estherville, IA- The Iowa Lakes Mens Basketball team defeated Iowa Central 75-71 to move to 12-8 overall and 4-6 in Iowa Community College Athletic Conference play.

The Lakers were led by Ashton Hermann with 16 points, Jhordan Ryan added 15 points and 16 rebounds, Termaine Fulton added 14 points, and Jayden Jones added 11.

Iowa Central was led by Jordan Cain with 23 points.

"Really proud of our guy's effort on the defensive end of the floor tonight. We held them to 37% from the floor and we were great on the glass out rebounded them by 14. We have to take better care of the ball though if we want to compete at the end of the year though."

The Lakers well travel to Inver Grove Heights on Saturday to take on Dakota County. Tip for that game will be at 3pm.
