JANESVILLE, Wis. — Bryant & Stratton's men's basketball started its road to Danville last night. That road began with a matchup against new NJCAA Region 4 member, Blackhawk Technical College.
The Bobcats jumped out to a 49-38 at the end of the first half.
Malcolm Day led the Bobcats' offensive attack and he finished with 21 points. The Bobcats finished the game with 98 points, scoring 49 points in both halves and defeated the Talons 98-84. Daniel Sykes also added 17 points of his own.
It was a solid offensive performance and head coach Chuck Ruffing gave his thoughts on the game.
"We're happy to get the win on the road. We have a lot of work to do moving forward."
It will be a couple of days before men's basketball retakes the court, but when Ruffing's squad does, it will be against Des Moines Area Community College, the No. 11-ranked team in the nation.
