Game one, the Bobcats traveled to Richard Bland College to take on the Statesmen, a NJCAA D1 opponent in a non-conference matchup on Thursday the 21st.
In what seemed as the Bobcats first complete game, they took the lead early and never gave it back. BSC would take a nine-point lead going into halftime but that wouldn't cool them off. The Bobcats would come out of the half just as efficient as the first half and would outscore the Statesmen by eight in the second half to secure the victory, 99-82
The Bobcats had three players in double digits with Kahlil Oden leading the way with a season high 29pts and four assists to compliment, Gamar Powers with 13pts, 6reb, 1stl, 1blk, 1ast, and Kimoni Small with 12pts, 3reb, 2stl, 1ast. The team shot a strong 50% from the field and 34% from the three-point line.

The third dominant performance for the Bobcats in a much needed conference showdown as the Bobcats would hold a 33-point halftime lead and this game would be put well away early. BSC would have four players finish with double-digit point totals as everyone on the roster would get on the court as the home team would take the victory, 109-85.
