Bryant & Stratton College wins ugly at Black Hawk
Bobcats win eighth straight in Moline.
MOLINE, Ill. - Keith Robinson led all Bryant & Stratton College players with 23 points. He also had seven rebounds (four offensive and three defensive).
The next highest-scoring Bobcats were Matthew Juergens and Vontez Dent, who scored seven points a piece.
The Bobcats jumped out to a 13-7 through the first ten minutes, but it would be the Braves who would end the half with a 29-25 lead.
The Bobcats put together a stronger effort following the break. Coach Ruffing's squad would score 36 points and hold the Braves to 24 points.
The Bobcats found themselves trailing by two with five minutes, but an ally-opp from Robinson to Karter Seawright sparked a 10-0 run to close out the game and continue the Bobcats' winning streak.
Notable:
- Robinson's 23 points were his second-highest-scoring game of the season.
- The Bobcats shot 80% from the free-throw line.
- Karter Seawright also set a new single-game record with 10 blocks. That broke a mark of nine blocks, which Seawright set himself this season.
