
Bryant & Stratton College collects win No. 24 in Kishwaukee
Bobcats handle Kishwaukee Kougars
MALTA, Ill. - The No. 16-ranked Bryant & Stratton College Bobcats (24-5) put another W in the win column last night, defeating the Kishwaukee Kougars (8-19) 114-78.
This tied the single-game scoring record as a team for the Bobcats. The last time the Bobcats scored 114 was against Lincoln Land Community College on Jan. 25.
Jayden Myles led the Bobcats with a career-high 23 points.
Matthew Juergens also had a career night, scoring 17 points. He also grabbed eight rebounds and five rebounds.
Vontez Dent also had a solid night, scoring 15 points with eight rebounds.
Jabi Alberto recorded a double-double (11 points and 11 rebounds).
Alberto opened the scoring with a three-point play and the offense caught fire quickly. The Bobcats outscored the Kougars in the first half, 52-28 and never looked back. The offense stayed hot in the second half, putting up 62 total points.
Key Stats: The Bobcats shot 52.4% from the field and were +17 in the rebound battle.
Up Next: The Bobcats are back at Mt. Mary for the final regular season game and will celebrate sophomore day on Feb. 20. They'll be taking on the Wilbur Wright Rams (6-19).
