Estherville, IA- The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team finished the regular season 19-11 and 9-9 in Iowa Community College Athletic Conference play with a 79-53 win over NIACC.

The Lakers were led by Jhordan Ryan with 18 points and 10 rebounds, Jayden Jones had 17 points, Jermaine Freeman finished with 14 points, and Ashton Hermann had 12.

NIACC was led by Brayden Drea with 20 points.

"Really proud of our defensive effort tonight. We held them to 31% from the floor and out rebounded them by 16. The offense is starting look better to. Really excited for the Region tournament to start this weekend."

The Lakers will travel to Ft. Dodge to play Iowa Central on Saturday in the Region 11 Tournament. Tip will be at 3pm.
