Dougherty, Cecil Shut Down Dragons
NORTH EAST - Cecil freshman Gianna Dougherty tossed a complete game shutout, leading the Seahawks softball to a 4-0 victory over the Howard Dragons in Friday's opener.

The Seahawks were kept off the scoreboard until the bottom of the sixth, when Kylee Straining broke through with an RBI single through the left side of the infield that scored Briana Rebman.
