HEAR FROM THE HAWKS COACH:
Head Baseball Coach Marcus Clapp on the two contests Wednesday:
"Well, we didn't get off the bus for Game 1," Clapp said. "Too many free bases again and offensively we got away from our approach. That was disappointing to see when we had been playing good baseball. We pitched well in Game 2 as we attacked their hitters better and had fewer free passes. Just thought we were off a little offensively today."
Clapp on how he wants to spend the next week:
"We will get back to work at practice and continue to fine-tune things before we go to Southeast," Clapp said.
UP NEXT:
The Hawks will head to Southeast Community College for a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Beatrice, Nebraska.
