Colts fall to 0-2 after losing to the defending Conference Champions the Generals of Sullivan County
The Colts WBBALL team went up against the Generals of Sullivan County, averaging just over 42 points a game, 29.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists the Colts have had their troubles at the start of the 2024-25 season. In the first quarter of the game the Colt found themselves trailing by seven points as they were down 21-13 after the first ten minutes of play. The Colts had their troubles maintaining an offensive possession in the first half of the game as they would get outscored 47-23. The Colts finished yesterdays game with a 30.4 shooting percentage going 17-56 as a team and completed 8/17 free throws where they would end u losing to by a score of 87-42.
Despite the loss there were three athletes who finished with a great statline, leading scorer for the Colts was Fr. Forward #10 Olivia Harrison who finished one rebound shy of a double-double as she had 10 points and 9 rebounds coming off of the bench.
So. Forward#21 Victoria Harrison scored the second most points finishing with 8 points while coming down with 6 rebounds and had one steal.
Fr. Guard #12 Shalesse Joyner had a great game as she finished with five points, four steals, two rebounds and one assist.
The Colts will look to bounce back as they will be traveling to Middlesex Community College where they will be taking on the Lions from Raritan Valley Community College on Sat. Nov 16th for a 1:00 tipoff and then taking on the Colts from Middlesex Community College for the Shannon Williams Classic on Sunday Nov. 17th at 3:00
