March 9, 2025 – The Kougars softball team continued their southern trip in Winter Haven, Florida Sunday splitting two games in the afternoon.  In game one, Kish would win a run shortened game 9-0 over Mid-Michigan College. Kyra Johnson went 2-2 with 4 RBI, Ana-Kate Phillips went 2-2 with three runs scored as teammates Kailey Goetz, scored two runs plus Reilee Suter and Haley Von Schnase scoring one run each.  Abby Stoffa and Bella Koertner had a hit apiece offensively as Alyssa Wilkerson went five innings with 0 ER and 7 strikeouts for the W.  The second game of the day saw Mott (MI) Community College get two runs in the first innings and added three in the third to go up 5-0 early.  A late surge by Kish in the final innings wasn't enough as they would lose 6-3. Suter led the Kougars going 2-4 with an RBI and run scored.  Koertner, Kyra Johnson and Tyra Smith added hits.  Kyra Johnson took the loss in the circle.
