Softball Wins One, Loses Second Against Salem
Carney's Point, NJ - Brookdale softball won the first game of their doubleheader over the Salem Community College Mighty Oaks, 10-5, then took an unfortunate 4-3 loss in the second game.

Carney's Point, NJ - Brookdale softball won the first game of their doubleheader over the Salem Community College Mighty Oaks, 10-5, then took an unfortunate 4-3 loss in the second game.
Freshman second baseman, Mya Bonilla, helped tremendously by batting 4-for-4 for three RBI's as sophomore first baseman, Audra Lowe, donated two RBI hits. Freshman pitcher, Jules Hart, connected for an RBI and earned her seventh win of the season after pitching 7.0 innings with eight strikeouts.
The hits were present in game two for the Blues as they totaled fourteen to Salem's six, but it was not enough in the 4-3 loss. Jules Hart continued to hit and went 4-for-4 with a double for an RBI, and sophomore catcher, Jessica Fay, also had a double and an RBI for Brookdale.
Brookdale (12-4) will host the DII Lackawanna Community College Falcons on Thursday, March 27th, beginning at 3:30pm.
