
Saints Fall in Lake Worth
Santa Fe traveled to Palm Beach State College on Saturday afternoon, falling in the nonconference game 72-61.

Santa Fe falls to 2-6 after losing 72-61 on the road to Palm Beach State College. The Panthers jumped out to an early lead due to their hustle plays on the offensive glass. Heading into the break Palm Beach State took a nine-point lead. The Panthers extended their lead by a basket in the second half to come up with the eleven-point victory at home.
SF was led by the Sophomore Guard, Karmello Branch with 23 points. Branch knocked in three triples while shooting 4-5 from the charity stripe. Branch was the solo Saint in double figures. Predrag Panisic added nine points for the Saints, while Willie Thompson III and Keylson Turner added eight.
The Saints are back in action on Tuesday night at home as Mid Florida Academy comes to Gainesville for a 7:00 PM tip.
