
RAYMOND, MS - In the game between Itawamba Community College and Hinds Community College, the Indians fell short, losing 87-79.
ICC shot 44.6% from the field (25-56), but they struggled with their three-point shooting (5-17, 29.4%) and free-throw shooting (24-39, 61.5%). Hinds shot 58.8% from the field (30-51) and had more efficient three-point shooting (4-11, 36.4%) and free-throw shooting (23-30, 76.7%).
The Indians was out-rebounded 32-24, with Hinds having a significant edge in defensive rebounds (27 to 16).
AJ Dent led the Indians with 15 points. Damarion Winston also contributed with 10 points, including an impressive 8-10 from the free-throw line. Hinds' Jakobe Singleton scored a game-high 37 points on 11-16 shooting, including 3-5 from beyond the arc and 12-14 from the free-throw line.
