Muskegon Community College fell to the Schoolcraft Ocelots, 6-2, on Friday March 14, 2025
The Jayhawks took an early lead in the second inning after a Schoolcraft error and an Aidan Buchberger sacrifice bunt, each bringing in a run.
Wilson started on the mound for Muskegon, allowing 10 hits and six runs (four earned) over six innings while striking out six and walking none.
Offensively, Gabe Shooltz, Bryce Luevano, Christian Kennedy, Brock Thornton, and Lawson Doyle each recorded a hit. Buchberger led the team with one RBI.

The Jayhawks struck first in the opening inning with a Brock Thornton sacrifice fly. They extended their lead in the second, capitalizing on a Christian Kennedy groundout, a Koby Windeler two-run double, and a Thornton RBI single.
Sean Shooltz took the mound for Muskegon, allowing one run on nine hits over seven innings while striking out five and walking three.
Offensively, the Jayhawks tallied 10 hits. Windeler led the lineup, going 2-for-2 with three RBIs. Thornton and Lawson Doyle also recorded two hits each. Muskegon showed patience at the plate, drawing 10 walks, with Aidan Buchberger, Ryne Christensen, and Doyle each earning two.
Defensively, the Jayhawks were flawless, committing no errors. Bryce Luevano led with six plays in the field.
