OCC Men's Basketball Handles HACC Hawks, 91-79

Toms River, NJ - OCC Men's Basketball snapped a tough 5-game winless streak with a 91-79 statement victory against the visiting Hawks of Harrisburg Area CC on Saturday (12/7).

Ocean freshman guard Dylan Csik nearly matched his season high of 27 points versus Brookdale CC on November 21 with 26 points today, while freshman guard Jeremy Grospe made the most of receiving increased minutes, responding with 18 points and 4 assists in the win. OCC sophomore Dekari Harrell dominated under the basket, pulling down 14 defensive rebounds (17 total) and dropping in 6 points.

"After much back and forth, we were finally able to secure a win that we badly needed," stated OCC Men's Basketball Head Coach Patrick Boylan. "Jeremy Grospe provided a crucial spark off the bench which helped ignite the rest of the guys. Dylan Csik also proved to be unguardable. We now have a big test in a rematch with Salem."

Ocean improves to 4-5 overall, and returns to action on Tuesday, December 10, with a 5 P.M. home matchup versus Salem Community College.
