Gulf Coast State College knocked off Santa Fe (4-8) 82-63 in the Florida Juco Classic. The Saints fell behind by 14-points at the halftime break, and kept the second half margin close, but the Gulf Coast offense was too much for SF. The Saints shot under 40% from the field and under 35% from three-point range in the loss. SF won the turnover battle, forcing five more turnovers than committed offensively. However, the Saints got beat on the glass 37-22.

Karmello Branch led the way for Santa Fe with 18 points. Branch was the only Saint in double figures. Ryan Webster and Predrag Panisic added eight points each, but the offensive effort fell short in Tallahassee.
