Cecil Rolls Past Delaware Tech

NORTH EAST - Cecil College women's basketball ended November on a high note, defeating Delaware Tech 80-65 on Tuesday evening.

Jessie Ware dropped a season high 33 points and paired it with 11 assists. The freshman guard ended just shy of a quadruple-double, tallying seven rebounds and a half-dozen assists. Fellow backcourt member Kiara Brown finished with a career high 26 points for the evening.

The Seahawks jump to 2-1 on the year after the win.

Turning Point

Turnovers hampered Delaware Tech throughout the game, with 10 of their 26 errors occuring in the third quarter. Cecil capitalized by outscoring the visitors 29-11 during this stretch.
