February 8-10, 2025 – Yetis Athletics Park – The Cleveland CC Yetis secured a dominant series victory over Cuyahoga CC, winning four of five games behind strong pitching performances and timely hitting.
Game 1: Cuyahoga CC Opens Series with 6-3 Win
The series opener saw Cuyahoga CC rally late, scoring three runs in the seventh inning to break a 3-3 tie and take a 6-3 victory over the Yetis.
Cuyahoga's Brendan Hazuda led the charge, going 2-for-4 with three RBIs, while Jackson Boles and Vinny Gallaher also drove in runs. Pitcher Kyle Figuray earned the win, tossing 2.1 innings of relief with four strikeouts.
Cleveland was led offensively by Nick Morris (2-for-2, triple) and Owen Liberto (RBI single), but the team left eight runners on base and struggled to capitalize on opportunities.
Game 2: Yetis Walk It Off in 6-5 Thriller
The Yetis bounced back in Game 2 with a 6-5 walk-off win, overcoming an early 4-0 deficit. A three-run fifth inning tied the game, and a bases-loaded walk in the seventh sealed the victory.
Cleveland's Tanner Britt went 3-for-4 with an RBI, while Logan Norris delivered a clutch go-ahead single. Tyler Smart was the hero on the mound, pitching 5.2 innings and allowing just one earned run while striking out three.
Cuyahoga's Joey Lehner (2-for-3, RBI) and Gallaher (2-for-4, RBI) kept their team competitive, but their bullpen struggled with 12 total walks, allowing Cleveland to steal the victory.
Game 3: Yetis Dominate with 8-0 Shutout
Cleveland took control of the series with a dominant 8-0 shutout in Game 3, powered by a combined two-hitter from Jackson Gowan and Miles Corcoran.
Offensively, the Yetis were led by Tanner Britt (HR, 3 SB) and Charlie Davis (HR, RBI). Riley Stiles (2-for-3, 2 RBIs) also contributed as Cleveland scored in five of seven innings.
Cuyahoga was unable to generate offense, striking out eight times and stranding six runners.
Game 4: Yetis Win Wild Slugfest 14-12
The highest-scoring game of the series saw Cleveland outlast Cuyahoga 14-12, with both teams combining for 26 runs and 19 hits.

Cuyahoga's Kohan Merritt (2 doubles, RBI) and Holden Cope (triple, 2 RBIs) kept the game close, but defensive miscues (3 errors) proved costly. Liam Foley earned the save, shutting down Cuyahoga in the final inning.

Cleveland CC wrapped up the series in dominant fashion, cruising to a 12-2, five-inning win behind a massive eight-run third inning.
The Yetis took full advantage of Cuyahoga's shaky pitching (10 walks), with Keontay Booker (2 RBIs, double) and Logan Norris (RBI double, 2 SBs) leading the offense.
Pitcher Jackson Nash picked up the win, throwing three scoreless innings, while Isaiah Hipp and Dominic Jones closed out the final two frames.
