No. 14 Herkimer Women's Basketball Falls to SUNY Sullivan

Despite a strong defensive effort and a dominant performance on the boards, the Herkimer Generals Women's Basketball team fell short against SUNY Sullivan.

Herkimer showed resilience throughout the game, keeping it close until the final minutes. The Generals led 19-14 at the end of the first quarter but couldn't maintain their offensive rhythm as Sullivan County rallied to outscore them in the remaining three quarters.

Sophomore Imani McNeill (Colonie, NY) led the way for the Generals with a stellar double-double, scoring 17 points and pulling down 14 rebounds in 31 minutes. Freshman Kavashia Archie (Utica, NY) added 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals, while sophomore Kerisa Van Olst contributed 10 points.

Herkimer will look to bounce back in their next game on January 18th at Genesee CC.
