Both teams came out evenly to start the game, but it was Shorter who was able to gain a lead heading into the half. Both teams returned from their locker room, and it was Shorter who came out and picked up right where they left off putting some seperation between themselves and the Lady Greyhounds. Although, ASU Mid-South gave their best effort to make a comeback in the final frame, it just wasn't enough as the Lady Bulldogs would capture a 70-59 win in West Memphis.
Lula-Jae Tranfaglia would have a stellar night scoring 24 points and grabbing 22 rebounds. Her second time this season grabbing more than 20 rebounds in a game. London Robinson scored 17 and grabbed 9 rebounds. Charalyn Rester and Sage Singleton both scored 8. Richara Cooper scored 2.
The Lady Greyhounds drop to 0-16 on the year and 0-6 in Region play. They are back in the Dog House Monday, January 20 against UA Cossatot. Tip-off is set for 5:30.
