NORTH EAST - Freshman guard Jessie Ware produced a quadruple-double on Wednesday evening, but Cecil fell just short in a 70-68 loss to the Frederick Cougars.
Ware finished with 28 points, 12 rebounds, 11 steals, and 10 assists. The Virginia Beach, Va. native also collected all five of Cecil's blocks for the evening. Just trailing her was Kiara Brown, who dropped a career high 27 points.
The Seahawks dip to 2-3 (0-2 Region 20) on the season.
Turning Point
Frederick outscored Cecil 26-18 in the fourth quarter to steal the game away from the Seahawks. The visitors went to the 14 times and made 12 of their attempts over the final 10 minutes.
