The Panthers initially gained the upper hand through turnovers and strong defense. However, the Raptors' resilience and key performances from their players ultimately sealed their dominant 77-94 victory, proving once again that "defending the nest" is what they do best. With a start of a dominant performance, the Baltimore City Panthers took control early against the Montgomery College Raptors in their typical "Defend the Nest" game. The Panthers capitalized on turnovers and missed shots by the Raptors, building a strong lead with layups, dunks, and solid defense. Montgomery College struggled to recover, with key misses and turnovers. Despite a few moments of success, the Panthers held on to their commanding advantage, in the opening minutes of the game. Baltimore City Community College (BCCC) had a strong start, but Montgomery College mounted a comeback. With 15:46 remaining, BCCC's "The One" committed a turnover, allowing Montgomery College's Jordan Alphonso to respond with a layup, narrowing the gap to 9-6. BCCC's, Marquise Delahaye answered with a layup and free throw, regaining a 12-6 lead. However, Montgomery College responded with aggressive defense, including steals from Mateuz Szpin, and a dunk by Mohammed Lo.
