CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. - The Finger Lakes Community College women's basketball team dealt with a tough opponent in the Cannoneers of SUNY Jefferson on Thursday evening, dropping the contest 71-35.
Ella Robinson (Hallstead, P.A./Blue Ridge) led the way in scoring for the Lakers, pouring in 16 points, while Dalayla Alexander (Ellicottville, N.Y./Ellicottville) added 10 points. Jazzmyn Lewis (Waterloo, N.Y./Waterloo) made her presence felt in multiple departments, grabbing 7 rebounds and 6 steals.
The Lakers will look to bounce back in their next matchup, where they will face off against the Panthers of Tompkins Cortland Community College on Saturday, January 25th at 1 PM at TC3.
