On Saturday November 16th, the Bristol Bayhawks hosted Springfield Tech Community College. Bristol trailed 46-40 at halftime and were down as many as 16 points in the second half. The Bayhawks rallied back, scoring 51 points in the second half to come up with a 91-81 win. The Bayhawks improved to 4-1 overall and are averaging 81 points per game.
Bristol was led by Sophomore Darien Gibson (New Bedford MA) who scored 36 points, including 7 three point makes. Freshman, Emmanuel Ugwuakai (Attleboro MA) continued his strong play with 12 points and 17 rebounds off the bench. Sophomore captain, Curran Farnworth (New Bedford MA) added 12 points and 6 assists for the Bayhawks.
Bristol will host the Community College of Rhode Island on Tuesday, November 19th for a 7pm game.
