In a last-minute addition to the schedule, the Cyclones faced Olive-Harvey College for one game that ended in an 18-5 loss.
While Moraine Valley put up some solid hits, it was the Panthers that controlled the game. After two innings, the Cyclones were down 6-2 with those runs coming from Timothy O'Connell (1-for-4) with a homerun to centerfield and an RBI single from Preston Lund (1-for-2). A few Cyclone errors and solid hits from the Panthers extended the deficit to 18-2 in the bottom of the sixth when the Cyclones made some strides with two outs. Andrew Phelan (1-for-3) and Armando Aguilar (1-for-2) each hit RBI doubles while Alejandro Munoz (3-for-3) drove in a run on a line drive to left field, but it wasn't enough.
Xavier Aguilar was the losing pitcher for the Cyclones despite striking out seven and walking two.
