On the second day of the Dan Hull Memorial Classic, the Cyclones faced a tough Jackson College that qualified for nationals last season. Moraine Valley held their own but suffered the 84-73 loss.

The Cyclones jumped out to a strong 14-point lead in the first quarter, but couldn't hang on to it in the second quarter. Jackson went on a run to ultimately lead 38-34 at the half. Although the Cyclones got back within three points in the third quarter, Jackson was able to knock down some consecutive points to pull away in the waning moments.

Shakila Brownlow led the scoring this game with 23 points and added six rebounds. Jadea Johnson earned another double-double in the tournament with 12 points and 14 rebounds. Deniza Fuentes contributed 12 points while Lily Hernandez and Robin Stevenson each banked 10.
