On the third day, Pensacola achieved a remarkable victory against No. 4 Jones College. This game was another testament to the team's collective effort, highlighted by Ethan McDonald's three crucial three-pointers in the first half, which set the momentum for the rest of the game. The Pirates maintained their lead and delivered an impressive performance. Five players scored in double figures: Amarion Savage led with 16 points, followed by Dimitri Clerc with 13, and Johnathon Pierce, Isaiah Sutherland, and Ethan McDonald each contributing 11 points. Pierce also recorded his first double-double of the season with an additional 10 rebounds.
Head Coach Pete Pena praised the team's performance throughout the Invitational, stating, "We had significant point contributions from Amarion Savage, who also controlled the pace of the games. Isaiah Sutherland, Dylan Colon, and Dimitri Clerc were formidable inside the paint. Jalik Nicholls had an outstanding night on the second evening. I'm incredibly proud of our guys. Despite a technicality affecting our record, I see a 7-2 team that plays unselfishly and cohesively."
