Sophomore right-handed pitcher, Tyler Spencer (2-0), was profound on the mound to grab the win in five innings with four strikeouts. On the offensive side, sophomore Tyler Mendez, banged a grand slam to total four runs on the day as freshman center fielder, Anthony Pizzuti, gained three RBI's including a double. Sophomore DH, Malik Little Jr., and freshman second baseman, Christopher Clark, were influential in the win with three RBI's, and sophomore first baseman, Richard Kernan, went 2-for-3 for two RBI's in the win.
Brookdale (4-0) heads back home for games two and three against Salem CC on Saturday, March 1st, beginning at 11:00am.
