GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs improved to 2-1 here Thursday with an 86-74 win over the Northwest Community College Rangers in non-conference action.
Holmes plays at Pearl River on Monday at 6 p.m.
Holmes led 49-36 at halftime. The Rangers outscored the Bulldogs, 38-37, but it wasn't enough.
Cameron Wallace led the Bulldogs with 28 points while K.J. Sykes had 18 and Trey Smith and Christian Parks each had 12. Wallace had eight rebounds and Parks had six.
