Chicago Heights and Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College men's basketball team split games this week against Prairie State and Moraine Valley.

The Spartans move to 8-19 overall and 4-8 in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) play.

Feb. 11: ECC 53, Prairie State 100

Team leaders included Immanuel Brown in points (15) and steals (two), Josiah Mayes in rebounds (four) and Jalan Alphonse and Mayes in assists (three).

Feb. 13: Moraine Valley 78, ECC 89

Four players scored double digits including Davee Flowers (22), Xavior Gonzalez (21), Tristan Walton (19) and Brown (18).

Others recording team-highs were Flowers in rebounds (12) and assists (five) and Mayes in steals (four).

The Spartans enter their last week of the regular season with a game at McHenry on Tuesday and against Oakton on Thursday.
