As the Dolphins celebrated Employee Apreciation Night in one of the longest-standing rivalries in Region 10, Brunswick Community College hosted Cape Fear Community College on Wednesday night. The Dolphins came out strong, but it was the visitors who made a late surge to take a six-point lead into halftime. After the break, Cape Fear extended their advantage to double digits. However, the Dolphins mounted a comeback, tying the game at 81 with just 7 seconds remaining. A missed shot by Cam Oates was rebounded by his teammate Derrick Green, ultimately deciding the final outcome. Leading the Dolphins in scoring was Cam Oates with 25 points, followed by Tyrone Barbee with 15, Derrick Green with 14, and Amari Latham with 11.
