Beavers Pick Up Road Win Against Dodge City

Pratt, Kan. - In their second straight win, the Pratt Community College men's basketball team defeated Dodge City Community College 102-79 yesterday. The Beavers were pushed forward by a stunning performance by Jarrett Dingle. Dingle scored 31 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and had 6 assists while shooting 11-17 from the floor and 5-7 from 3pt range. There were 5 other players who scored in double figures as well!

As the Beavers continue to get healthier throughout the end of this season, they will continue to become more dangerous. Coaches Eddy and McBride have done a great job of getting the team to play as one unit all season. The buy-in from all of the players has been great to see.

Other strong performances from Beaver players include Hunter Vaughn who finished with 13 points, 8 assists, and 6 rebounds. Jakobe Clark who shot 80% from the field on his way to an 18-point night. Joseph Opareke who tallied 13 points and 7 rebounds.

Despite these great performances, it was probably the return of Ajiet Akot that gave the Beavers their biggest boost. The team has been playing a 6-man lineup for the past few games. Akot not only gave PCC another body, but he contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds.
