FLINT, MI – The Ocelots hit the road looking to move to 2-0 against Mott on the season.
Things got rolling right away for the Ocelots as the team would score 24 points in the 1st quarter, good enough for a 15-point lead over the Bears. Schoolcraft would outscore Mott in every quarter, including a 16-2 4th quarter.
4 different Ocelots would enter double-digits in the scorebook with Siena McNitt scoring 13, Garyana Overton scoring 11, Ravyn Guy scoring 10 and Sharon Smith leading the way with 18. Defense was big time for the Ocelots, Schoolcraft would force 25 turnovers while logging 13 steals and 11 blocks. Schoolcraft would also hold Mott to just 17.6% from the field.
Schoolcraft returns to the floor on Wednesday night, hosting Wayne County Community College. Wednesday's game is also Schoolcraft Pink Zone game where all proceeds are being donated to the Kay Yow Foundation. Tip-off is 5:30PM.
