FLINT - The Mott Community College women's basketball team picked up a MCCAA Eastern Conference win over Wayne County Community College District on Monday at the Ballenger Fieldhouse.
The Bears jumped out to an early lead and held off the Wildcats despite 25 offensive rebounds and 87 total shots from the road team. The 68-56 win moves Mott 12-13 overall and 2-9 in the MCCAA.

Ali Anderson led the Bears with 21 points on 8-of-18 shooting, while narrowly missing a double-double with nine rebounds.

Ella Prevost finished with 18 points including a pair of 3-pointers in the third to help the Bears pull away. She added seven rebounds, four assists, and three steals.

Kyndall Dotson added 10 points.

Alannah Liggins recorded nine points and five rebounds, while Tamia Taylor added eight points and seven rebounds.

Chloe Thompson recorded a team-high 10 rebounds in the win.
