The Hudson Valley men's lacrosse team was defeated 17-6 by Anne Arundel on Sunday.
Bryce Morin led the Vikings' scoring with two unassisted goals, while Anthony Palladino, Romeyn Murray, and Cole Vumbaco each contributed to the offensive effort. Murray led the team in assists with one and was also active in ground ball recoveries.
Defensively, goalie Nicholas Lagitch faced a barrage of shots, making 10 saves on 27 shots on goal. Zachary Rogers and Carmelo LoPorto anchored the defense, contributing to turnovers and ground ball battles.
Though the Vikings struggled in the first quarter, they found their rhythm in the later periods, scoring 6-6 against Anne Arundel across the final three quarters.
The Vikings look ahead as they face Onondaga on Wednesday on the road. The game is at 4pm.
