MCC hosted the Jayhawk Invite on October 20th at Reeths-Puffer High School where they went 1-1 on the day. They lost to Kalamazoo Valley Community College (2-3) and beat Southwest Michigan College (3-2).
Leaders on the day were Ana Trevino with 31 kills, Madison Babinec with 25 kills, and Kayla Fisk with 19 kills. Shelbie Schoenborn picked up 113 assists on the day.
Defensively, Kaylee Balcom picked up 40 digs followed by Rachel Romero with 39, and Schoenborn and Babinec with 25 each.
As a team, the Jayhawks earned 22 service aces. Babinec had a team high of 7.
The Jayhawks currently sit at 14-11 on the season.
