The Charger Men's Basketball team continued their winning streak Saturday afternoon with a 100-75 success at Edison State University. The Chargers moved to 4-0 on the year, but they might not have done so without their bench, who outscored Edison State's reserves, 44-19, mirroring the margin of victory.

Leading the way once again for Marian Ancilla was Freshman guard Jordan Woods who posted a double-double with 27 points and 10 assists. The athletic wing added 7 steals to his tally, plus he was an efficient 11-14 shooting from the field.

As for the bench's play, Redshirt Freshman guard Kenneth Grant was 7-16 from the field and 6-14 from deep for 20 points. Sophomore guard Zavion Bellamy also buried 6 of his 10 shots, all 3-point attempts, plus he contributed 5 assists and 4 rebounds in the win.

Following four consecutive road games to begin the season, the Chargers are finally home for the first time, as they host Bethel University's Junior Varsity team on Tuesday, November 12th. Tip time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at the LifePlex. Please come out and support the guys in their home opener, if you are able!!
